I don't know anything about them first hand, but I do like their looks.

Shooting Times has a positive review on their .45ACP and 40S&W:

I have one in .380 (got it for the wife many years ago). I think it's ugly as a bag of elbows and the balance is weird (very top heavy even with a full mag), but it goes boom every time I pull the trigger and makes a hole about where I intended a hole to be made. A lot of people bash them but function and reliability are acceptable, even exceptional for the price.

i had one, but sold it. never did have any problems with it. i would never trust my life with one, but for the price its a great gun for target practice.

The .45 actually has gotten good reviews for reliability and accuracy, although it's very heavy (as a straight blow-back .45 has to be).

They're ugly, and everyone will laugh at you.

In 9mm, from the two examples I've personally handled, shot and worked on, are jam-o-matics. My personal experience with the 9mm carbine is that it, too, jams easily and frequently.

Your mileage may vary.

I have two and love them both, hundreds of rounds and no problems

I had a 9mm carbine, almost bought a .380 pistol, but later decided against it...I hear they are great, will run forever, but I just couldnt get past the shape and weight distribution...

I have a .40 carbine, it's ugly as hell but very accurate. Lots of fun, and hasn't faltered yet.

Straight blow-back design in 9mm, .40, and .45 ACP. Then, in order to save weight, they start making ones with polymer frames.

Does anyone else find that to be kind of funny?

I would say sad not funny.

They are the brown eye of pistols.

My dad owns 9mm, .40, and .45. Never a problem with any. They are all ugly as sin. I own the 9 Carbine and a buddy owns the .40 carbine. Very reliable and pleasantly accurate. Backed by a lifetime guarantee and American made!!!

I own one 9mm (got it from here didn't have any time to shoot yet)

The original stock was really ugly so I've put the aftermarket one.

that how it looks now

I had a 40 short and weak, about 5 years ago, someone gave it to me that owed me money. I hated that ugly effing thing so much that I GAVE it away.

It did always fire without a problem though. I think you'd have a better chance beating someone to death with it, over shooting them with it.

I just saw some guy on CL tring to sell the pistol and carbine together for $600, which is way too much, even with the extra mags

The pistol sells for what, 130 bucks?

100% American made, with a no questions asked lifetime warranty.

i have never heard of anyone having a problem with one not functioning. if i weren't a handgun snob (and if they weren't so damn ugly), i would have ten of em. might consider picking up a couple just in case the SHTF.

i have seen the 9's around local for less than $120 new.

I had the all metal one and it was ugly as sin, low capacity mags sucked, hard to find extras that worked, it was top heavy. But it shot nicely and every time. And if it didn't you could always throw it.
