View Full Version : Look what they are doing in California.
So the government must be keeping track of gun sales for this to work. I wonder how easy it will become to get on the criminal/ mental list when the government can disarm their adversaries.

The Senate voted 31-0 to approve an urgency bill that would take the $24 million over three years from a Department of Justice account funded by gun owners who pay a fee when they register their guns with the state.
sound familiar? We just created an identical fund.
More proof the slippery slope is real.

Yes they are keeping track.

California is the only state that has such a computerized tracking program. Atty. Gen. Kamala Harris said the money would allow her to temporarily double the program staffing for three years to whittle down the backlog.
Apparently they do have a registration program.

I see dead people. It is how this ends, legislators sending bright eyed young idiots to confiscate firearms and not giving a damn when a third or more of them die.

I see a bunch of blue-helmeted, MRAP driving thugs in our future.
I foresee news stories running rampant about midnight raids on gun owners and Bloomberg on tv saing it is legal and something that much be done to make the streets safer.

let's just hope this doesn't happen
What's next? Just a crying shame, maybe they should start with the safe streets of Compton first and see how that works out for them. Bunch of bullshit.

In CA, you have to register a gun when you buy one. You have to go to the police department. They fire 1 rd and keep the bullet and casing and its put into system with your name assigned to it. Including serial number.

hahaha what? (I assume HB stands for Huntington Beach? If so, I'm a fellow OC native) That is some serious sarcasm, I presume!

Hopefully you're kidding... A friend out there just bought a 1911 and he mentioned no such process. Wasn't a requirement when I lived there either.
