Is there any place to sell coyote pelts/whole carcass. Would prefer not to leave them lay. Plan to hunt near Walden as I am familiar with the area from big game hunting.

There is a fur buyer that comes thru town once a month and stops at Sportsmans. Cant remember the name, I think its Peska Furs, but it has been mentioned in a couple different coyote hunting threads. Welcome to the forum.

How much does he pay for a raw coyote on average? Carcass and all. Any big difference between that and a skinned one in the green?

this year was slightly better than the past several on fur prices. From $12. to $25 in the round for eastern Colo. coyotes, and the Petska buyer that I sold to in the past told me they would only give me $2./ea. more for raw skinned coyotes.

Thank you for the help, thinking about early fall so selling may not be worth the hassle.

Just remember to freeze them the same day if your not skinning they get green belly within a day and buyers wont touch them.
