I really don't have a single use for a tomahawk, but really want one for some reason. I was looking at the strider crash axe (not sure if thats really classified as a tomahawk) What do you guys have / recommend?

A hand forged hawk from Wolf Creek Forge on top. A no name on the bottom.
Never been interested in tactical hawks.

I would recommend a SOG hawk before you look at any super high end hawks like these other guys are showing

I might go with a sog or an ontario hawk, I can't afford a $600 hawk
Love the looks of that Wolf Creek hawk.
Thanks. I used a bee's wax/BOL/turpentine finish.

I went to Wolf Creek's website because I want a good old school throwing hawk like the one I used at rendezvous'. Do you have to e-mail them to order?
Or even another brand. Like the ones that used to be made oyut of Railroad spikes.

Personally cannot imagine a war bag without a tomahawk. Mine is USGI. Have fun looking.

Yes I do. Thanks for asking.

Nope. I want one though and I will get one some day, however I have been saying that for years. I have played with them at the SHOT show and they seem to be amazing. They had a demo setup were you could attack a steel drum. The drum had hundreds of holes and the hawk looked new.
