I've got a 1997 Suburban K2500 (4x4) that just rolled over 200k miles, and the 4L80E is dropping out of gear when cold, "thumping" when downshifting at highway speeds, and I think it's time for either a rebuild, or an exchange.
I checked the COAR NON-FIREARM member forum, and didn't find anything...
Thanks!

Well, they are court ordered to not operate, but just to clarify, avoid Springs Transmission, lol. Theres a few out there, I cant say how good they are, including transmission clinic.
I would say aamco because of the warranty, and they did the one in my srt and it held together. that being said run from angels. those are the only two that I know of here in pueblo.

I've had several folks recommend the Transmission Clinic in Coloardo Springs. I have not dealt with them myselves, but they will be my first stop when I need tranny work on my truck.

If you can make it to Denver I can help you. One of my vendors is an awesome transmission guy, excellent work and fair pricing.
