View Full Version : Lazer Engraving Coverup
I have a Spikes Punisher lower I picked up because it was a great deal but I absolutely hate the engraved logo. I'm not skilled at painting in anyway so I'm looking for other ways to cover it up. I thought about using stick on Velcro and putting a small patch on there. Does anyone have any ideas?
People like the punisher lowers. I bet you could swap it.

Yeah, trade it to me for a nice New Frontier plain jane lower ;)
You could probably trade it pretty easily.
You could also find some of that fancy tape in ACU or whatever and stick that around the mag well. An even better idea would be to get one of those rubber mag well grips. Those are some cheap alternatives.

though you may be poked fun at for the magwell grip unless it is on a sbr
There's no magwell grip on it haha. Just looking for something to cover it up haha. I'd love to hear some more ideas

Have you considered swapping it for something that conforms more to your fashion palate and lifestyle ?
I mean I'd love to but I have a magpul PRS and Gissele 2 stage trigger, which I love, in it. I've thought about trading but in today's market I dont think I'd break even

Trade just the stripped lower. It'd only take few min to uninstall and reinstall those. Good luck

Just sell your stripped lower to me and then you can go get another one without the engraving. [Muaha]
I hadn't considered stripping it and trading it, wonder if I can get one that's not plastic though....

I mentioned earlier that I have a nice brand spanky new FORGED lower that I would have no issue trading, mainly because I have not even decided what I am going to do with it yet.
My bad, I was reading after I had a few and read new in plastic as new, plastic lower. Let me decide what I want to do and ill shoot you a PM if I decide to trade

No worries, its all good to me either way, and I will be happy to dis-assemble/re-ssemble the lowers for you.

Ergo Magwell Grips does a good job of covering up logos on the lower receiver: http://ergogrips.net/never-quit-grip-black.html
