I live in district 26 represented by Linda Newell. She obviously voted on party lines. According to her bio she is a California transplant. Seems she brought her California values with her. Either way I want to start a recall process on her. How does one go about doing this? I know of many people who are willing to do some leg work through out district 26 to get this done.

Are there any threads per district for us to get organized? Even if we were not successful in all districts just having them sweat for their disregard of the voters of their district would-be awesome.

These guys are already organizing it and need volunteers to help out collect signatures as well as donations.

That is great I want to send these Californian legislators back home. My disappointment grows everyday as I think about what has happened. Following Obama and Bloomberg and not listening to the residents of Colorado was wrong.

Might be time to start pushing for term limits too. At the federal level for sure...the state level I dunno yet.

We have term limits. And we have voting.

All the Democrats moved into Colorado and voted them in. I don't know if recalls can succeed. I am so depressed at how this state has eroded toward California values.
Colo. is my home state, but I am not proud of that with the marijuana laws, gay marriage, gun control laws. I am not sure I can stay here.

and term limits have turned out to have a nasty second edge. Folks in their last term don't give a rats ass what the voters think.

Two of those are about granting MORE rights and one is about restricting a constitutionally protected right. I fail to see how those are related. Let's keep this thread focused on the real problem here.

Amen. And I will be donating. Was going to pick up some 9mm projectiles for loading today, but apparently the shipment hasn't come in yet. Think I'll spend it on donations, NRA and RMGO memberships today instead. Fuck it.

My point is Colorado is seeing an erosion of traditional conservative values with the most significant being gun rights.

Gays getting married and people smoking pot doesn't affect either of us regardless of how much you're trying to make it a big deal right now. The erosion of our constitutional rights is paramount and shouldn't be lumped in with completely unrelated issues especially when those other issues GRANT rights to citizens. Let's not get this conversation off topic.

Linda Newell won by a slim margin I believe and I believe would be vulnerable, I'm ready to sign
