We are now a country that elects aristocracy and not representatives. When an elected official tells you up front he does not read the communications of the citizens of his state because they go against what he wants to do, it is time to think seriously about kicking people out of office one way or the other.

The disease of aristocracy spreads worse, deeper and faster than panic over something in the water that makes straight folks gay, I swear!

He is out of Colorado Springs which leans more to the right. I bet he is more worried about getting reelected since (I believe) he only won by 956 votes. I also bet he is gone in the next round![Mad]

Well I hope the same thing does not happen to him that happened to Lincoln.

Yes he is. I wish people would wake up and start paying attention to that.

Looks like he's out in 2014, I'd love to see him recalled but it doesn't do much other than make a point. I'd prefer to see recall resources spent on others.

Hudak also appears to be term limited but she's there till 2016 without a recall and only won by just over 300 votes. I think she's a better target for recall at the moment, given her comments to Collins I would expect we could get support from a lot of people.

I would love to recall Todd, but she won by over 10K votes last time and it would require 14400 signatures.

It makes a HUGE point. It sends a clear message that we won't tolerate legislators who blatantly, admittedly ignore their constituents. This is a message worth sending to the other legislators who are not term limited.

The same organization organizing McLachlan and Morse's recalls are also organizing a recall for Hudak. These three are just the start.

I don't use this expression often, but when it fits.........

The best part of Morse ran down his daddy's leg in the shower.

I've got a question for someone more knowledgeable on the subject. If Morse is successfully recalled does that do anything to his ability to run in a different district in 2014?

Since he’s term limited and it sounds like he already has plans to move and run in another district it seems to me that if he pics one with a strong liberal base he could actually use the recall as a badge of honor to prove he's fighting for the progressive movement.

Morse IS out of Colorado Springs which leans more conservative but the Democrats gerrymandered a district for him that looks like centipede after someone stepped on it. I'd love to have an OWS-style campout on the sidewalk in front of his home.

He already has a love pad apartment complete with pet gerbils in Denver. I agree with the message oust him. May be a badge of honor for him but will send a message to others. What about the Senator who threw out the Mexican race card? I took his words as gun owners are a bunch of racist thugs and we sending him mail stating we owns to protect ourselves from illegals. I took offense to that. Yes my reply with gerbils noted can be taken bad but these people are now the enemy. They have taken away our God given rights and have more planned if not stopped. Did Mr.Morse not call gun owners a sickness of society? Sounds like he wants to exterminate us.

The senator trying to play the race card while having an emotional outburst is an idiot. The moron has probably never talked to a non-white gun owner, because it's much more convenient to project your fears instead of realizing that your gun can protect you from racists. That's my playing the race card on gun ownership! As for Morse's comments, they were definitely overtly hateful especially that whole bit about gun owners needing to be cleansed. Well, the thing about gun owners is that they will shoot back.
