Does anybody remember what happened this time last year?


Does anyone remember the horror of the anniversary of the greatest disaster ever?

No, I am pretty sure? Because I had to totally re-join back up cause we lost everything that was from Nov 2011 the previous year forward.

So my Join date is the reminder to me of the anniversery all that we lost. [shithitsfan]

it was horrible[panic] ! i had to do the scrapbook thread over again [Rant1], sad day for a.s.s.[gohome] . in the end i put it all back and more [Flower]

I just remember I had to re-join/sign up as I was a lurker first and finally joined Nov 2011. So I lost 5 months of posts and making first contact, my new join date was the month I had to re-sign up.

Unless mods moved my join date back to see the special sections??????

That is just confusing to me? If the crash was May, I had to "re-join" why does my Join date say "March"

The crash was in May. If someone remembered when their original join date was we(mods and admins) set their join date back so you could see the trading post.

You are right, but I originally I went and officially joined in Nov 2011??



Just upon reflection; last year our biggest concern in the Spring was our loss of posts, coming summer and what new toys we were buying.

Now this Spring we are battling political party lines and bogus feel good laws and rules.


Sad, very sad, if only we could turn back time to last year.

Your join date was nothing so it defaulted to the Unix Epoch minus 1 second, Dec 31 1969 12:59:59pm.

I fixed it for you. I couldn't have anyone else with special oddities like an impossible join date or negative post count now could I?

Ha. Some of you still believe the site actually crashed. Truth is some of your accounts were temporarily suspended during the famous "Wilson Combat 1911 giveaway" so that there would be plenty to go around for a privileged few of us.

Well, out of the 5 that were ahead of me, 4 of them were Rogers accounts and the other was some guy from arfcom that never posted, and eventually got tossed during a clean up.
