Did you get your ballot in the mail? If so, please vote. I think recent events have shown us how important local and state elections are.

Just in case you're wondering, Joel Miller has my vote. I like his stance on 2A:

Over the last 24 years, as a cadet, an Active Duty, Reserve and Colorado Air National Guard officer, I have raised my right hand in an Oath of Office in which I swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. The Second Amendment is part of that Constitution. Period.

With four bills passed out of the State House, and gun-grabbing bills circulating in the US Senate, it's important we take steps at the city level, to prevent city resources from being used to enforce unconstitutional state and federal laws.

I may have to rethink Miller. When I first saw his signs I thought he was a Dem. At least based on his stated positions he seems solid. but I was concerned about a split and a Dem getting in. The 3rd candidate bailed from the race to help beat Angela.

He may be the man for the job

Sent my absentee ballot in today. Pico was the best of the three.

Wasn't one of the candidates a felon or had served jail time?

I didn't have Pico on mine. Must be a different district.
