I waited over 3 F-ing Months for 1 F^&%^$%# magazine and now this. WHERE ARE MY OTHER 4 MAGAZINES?!?!?!?

I'm done with that company, and will tell everyone else to avoid them.

Many retail companies do this. My order from Bass Pro and Midway were both cancelled for the same reason. Check out the Firearm Accessories For Sale section on here, there are plenty of mags for sale. Since you are in Cheyenne, check out Frontier Arms on Lincolnway, I just picked up a few mags from them recently too.

I facebook "liked" Jensen Arms in Loveland, CO and they put out when they get some in, they had a TON of them in last week and were charging I think 17-18 dollars. (I was there for something else, didn't notice if they were Gen2, Gen3, window or not) They also had some NHMTG with magpul followers and some Troy mags. All decent prices. You could always call them and ask if they have stuff in stock if you feel like making the drive down to them.

I find it very rude for a company to drop a new customer due to a distributor. I understand what MAGPUL is going through and have emaile BOTACH 4+ times in reguards to my order and wait period. They normally ask if I would like to keep my order, even though they have no ETA. I kindly agree and will gladly wait for my turn. I found it very rude of them to just drop a customer because they are no longer able to keep my order active. My order went in December 17th and have been pretty patient so far, and have actually recieved a magazine already (1 of 4). Just a rant and will find business elseware.

Shodown..... Most of the shops here are way over prices, and treat me as if I am just some dumb shmuck oogling over guns. $530 for a Walther P22? - that's rediculous. $44 for a basic GI mag? - No thank you Mr. Price gouger.

I hate them, knew they are unreliable but still risk it. I got the surefire mag, but not the pmags. It's a gamble with them

Watch the forums, as folks see mags we'll post it up. I know there are quite a few retail shops that charge MSRP on their mags and are expecting to get in orders soon

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've dealt with them for years and have yet to be disappointed. Just before the things got crazy in Dec, I ordered a ton of mags and got them quickly. I'm signed up for their emails and get notification when stuff comes in. Right before Christmas, they put out an email that mags were available and I bought 5 more which came quickly. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt simply with regards to the current state of things. Keep looking as there are a lot of companies that are selling them without gouging us. I've ordered from the multiple times. If I think there's a chance that something may be out of stock I use their customer service chat to verify before placing my order. It's a pain but has worked out so far.

Do a search anywhere on the internet about Botach. They have the absolute worst reputation of anyone. In fact, getting "Botached" is an official Urban Dictionary word.

First time I dealt with them wasnt bad. Got a LMT rear sight at a good price. The second time was my last time. I ordered a CTR stock. Weeks later, no shipping info nothing. I called, no answer. Left messages/emails, no reply. Of course they charged my card tho. Finally picked one up locally and tried to cancel my order via message and email. Couple weeks later they shipped the CTR. What the hell. Horrible CS. Never again. I would have had to pay for return shipping and I sure as hell didnt trust this company to refund my card... so i started to build rifle # 2. They never tell you if something is backordered either. This was way before things got crazy too.

I don't doubt that these things happen- there are too many posts from members saying the same thing. I guess I'm just lucky that it hasn't happened to me yet. When I see a good deal from them on something I need, I will continue ordering from them until there is a problem that earns an end to my business.

Only recently have I had an issue with Botach. As part of the surefire mag order, I grabbed a couple other things.

Some of them went on backorder, which I will tolerate for a bit for any hard to get item (Noveske QD endplates) but not for an item I can readily get elsewhere (CTR stock) AND was able to get shipped right away on a second order I placed to get some items at a lower price after the initial order.

I had no trouble cancelling some, but not all, of the items on the first order.

I have since told them to pound sand for the rest of the BO items considering they will show stock and accept orders for product they don't have. I do realize many places use centralized fulfillment, but they should ensure they can allocate stock before taking orders, or divulge the stock status appropriately.

I might hesitate to order from them again if I can find product elsewhere, but if they have a great price and an item is shipped quickly enough, I would continue to use them on a limited basis.

Botach has always been very consistent for me. If I do not get a shipping confirmation e-mail within 3 days of placing an order. I just cancel because it is never going to show.

Sorry to hear they have not got their act together.
But, kinda glad to hear my boycott of them some 6 or 7 years ago was not in vain.
I vaguely remember having some sort of problem with an order, them keeping hold of my money, calling customer service and getting some musloid sounding individual on the other end who was yelling back and forth down a hall or something.
Haven't opened their site ever since.

I've had both good and bad dealings with botach.
mostly I've had good luck with them.
although,I just cancelled an order with them yesterday (for a geissele trigger)
that was listed in-sock,but after waiting 4 weeks with no word from them,I cancelled.

CS is what it's all about, but in times of drought you take what you can get. Some of us have higher expectations and less patience than others.

Honestly to expect anything less is unreasonable. Considering Operation Boulder Airlift, which I am certain has to be taking A LOT of orders away from places like Botach, Midway USA, Brownells, etc. I've ordered from Botach in the past and had great results. I don't think anyone can be too upset with the above mentioned companies cancelling orders due to high demand everywhere. I have friends in many states who are all saying P-Mags are non-existent in all shops. When they do come in, they generally hit the shelves running. I am still kicking myself for not opeing up a gun shop many years ago.

Not a plug, just personal experience...Absolutely nothing but positive experiences with Botach on 15+ orders...YMMV, obviously....
