Hello all,

This Democratic controlled government is trying to destroy our state. We need to do all we can to keep the pressure on the Dems. HB1258 reverses the law requiring the police to notify ICE if they arrest a person who they suspect is also in the country illegally Joe Salzar, who also voted to destroy our 2nd Amendment rights is sponsoring this bill. He says it is about community.

The only community he cares about is the one where the illegal immigrants do not get deported and are allowed to stay in the country for the rest of their lives while having more and more babies.

If a person is in the country illegally then they need to be deported....bottom line.

This is about one thing; padding the Democrats voting base.

Democrat voting base will skyrocket if they get their blanket amnesty wish.

Of course it is. Republicans would do the same thing, if they had a way to. Between splitting the voter base between mainstream GOP, Tea Party and Libertarian and adopting platforms that alienate a portion of the moderate voter base, they just aren't doing it as well.

The requirement isn't doing anything except making us hold people longer, ICE is just ignoring the notifications. this isn't something that can be solved on a state level. Change it to: Notify, but do not hold unless an immediate response is recieved from ICE.

It'll pass though, to shore up the latino vote

But hey, why not, I mean they already go to school cheaper than AD military, so why not give them more and more and more.... Somehow I don't think many of our legislators understand the meaning of "illegal." [Mad]

Bush did this to Texas and made it to the WH with half the Mexican vote. And weren't those some great years?

That's why they changed it to undocumented.

Hence when a ban comes I won't own any "illegal" guns, they'll just be "undocumented." Just like all new mags I buy after 7/1/13... they're "undocumented" magazines. No sir, I'm not breaking the law, you gov't types aren't the only ones who can manipulate the language... [Rant1]
