My niece and her boyfriend are going to look for bulk ammo in 25 acp, 380 auto and 38 special. I told them good luck...
I thought about it, but since all I need is .380 ammo and don't have money for much else gun related I'm not braving the crowds.

Fridays ....DICKs sporting goods gets ammo in usually. I live semi close to 2 of them and I hit them up. I have seen 380 there a couple times and they havent gouged prices. If you live close to one, give them a call today.
Some friends and I are gonna being going by. Last time I was there was November 2012 working at the R&S booth. I anticipate a shitshow.

OK, someone please help me and decipher what the hell a shitshow is. Good show or poor show???
Thanks!
I'll be going, hoping to trade some reloading supplies (dies, brass) for projectiles and some other odds and ends.

You know...it's like....a show...where you show your shit.

Shit normally smells like......well, shit. So, I'm guessing it's not a good thing. Unless, of course you like the smell of shit.
In today's parlance it may very well be a good thing. I'm just too old & never know anymore. Someone younger than me will have to provide the real answer.
It's only a good thing if it is The Shit.
Saying something is Shit is still bad.
Damn old people.
Just wait till you get my age. Colorful ponies also grow old.

It's where the shithawks come swooping in low.
No really, did I just start a debate on the merits of the word, "shit"?

Well work has me not making out today, maybe tomorrow???? who knows
Show was crazy packed today.
Used the valet so I didn't have to park blocks away, and they lost my keys [Mad]
After about 15-20 minutes, they got them and brought me my car, didn't charge me at least.
Big thanks to Al for helping me sell my brass!

Just got back from the Tanner. Expected huge crowd, and there was, but not as big as December. Nice to see lots of 2A activism present including signatures to volunteer for the Morse, McLachlan, and Hudak efforts. Most ammo is silly expensive - including one vendor selling 800 rounds of 22lr for $100. About the best price I saw on .223/5.56 was a 1000 round case of Federal Lake City XM193 for $800.
The one thing that bugs me are people bringing in babies in monster strollers and people towing wagons or carts behind them.

This bugs me to no end. Find a fricken sitter and leave the small children and crap that comes along with with them at home.

Kinda crazy. Too busy to wander much but I saw alxone, ridge and R&S. No ponys. Sold one rifle at sticker early. The other guys sold a ton of mags and small parts. Picked up some frog lube and a couple dust covers. Another infidel and a Molon Labe.

This was an above-average day of sales for us. The first part of the morning began a bit slow but by 11:00am sales picked up and they never slowed down.
I also noticed that there were other vendors with some decent deals on guns and ammunition (very much unlike the previous two shows when all the prices have been simply ridiculous). Don't get me wrong, there were no shortage of $3,000 AR's and $600 Ruger 10/22's but, all in all, this show gave me some hope that buyers have purchased what they need and prices may once again be close to what they used to be 3 months ago.

I was at the show late today and found a table with Federal/Lake City XM193 for $750. He was a few aisles in from the front door and only had 1000 on his table but said he had more. He had some decent priced gold dot handgun ammo but didn't have cheap shooter ammo. I may go back tomorrow and stock up on more ammo since it's not getting any cheaper.

You need to visit the group buy forum more often. $750 for 223 is no deal at all.
Hadn't been to the show in probably close to a year but decided to make a go at it. Got there just after 10 a.m. Parking lot was packed. There were sporadic spots as it appeared people were leaving here and there. Didn't want to fight or hunt, wound up parking in the overflow lot across the street...
Didn't have to wait to get in. But boy was it packed, like 5 o'clock rush hour. I was surprised to see as many ARs as I did and some other assault-style rifles. Prices were what I expected for where we are at this time in history. Although my friend did find a deal. An AR that was only a couple hundred over what it was a few months go, which is really a steal in today's market.
Lots of bolt-action rifles though. Lots of AR mags and "standard-capacity" magazines for sale. Prices ran the gamut. I saw PMAGS for 20 bucks on up. Ammo was pretty expensive. I didn't stop at the one on the North/East side, they had a "Now Serving" number machine but they were extremely busy. The highest price I saw on bulk .223 was 1.25 around and I think it was in lots of 200 or 250...
Walked out with Frog-lube and some Mountain man stuff... No 6.8 SPC ammo or components or a heavy duty bipod...

I ended up not going, neighbor went late saturday, said it looked like Locust had hit the place, not much left of things like bullets, powder, brass etc.
Many of us vendors brought new inventory today for which we had no room on the table yesterday.
I just finished my morning loop around the show and I also noticed some folks dropping prices on a few items. There are still plenty of deals to be found albeit not in reloading components.
