Just planning on bring 40 or 50 rounds for this... figuring 3 or 5 shots per hundred yard increments 40 or 50 rounds would be enough, but I guess bringing a little bit more won't be so bad either especially stretching it out pass 700 yards.

the drifts are 3 or more feet taller than the roads. the wind is blowing and its white out conditions. unless the sun came out and dried everything out in 2 days, shooting would be less than fun. but in the cold, with this much wind would be good practice.

It was beautiful out there today. A bit muddy but very nice none the less.. A member on here and his brother joined me out there. Posted targets at the farthest 500 yards only and in to 100 yards. It was pretty fun... We walked each others shots to the targets and hit every single one.

Depending on the conditions.. we could even stretch it to 1K+ yards if wanted too.

If you guys want to try setting up steel that we move away from (on foot) every 100 yard increments till we get as far as we can see... starting out to 300 or 400 yards, maybe?

There are a couple of ridges even pass the 1K mark. You'll literally see your splashes whether you shoot to high or low at a 1K and beyond.... well.... more like inside a 1K... for now [Coffee]
The 1K target is posted in the middle of one little ridge and in back of the little ridge is a bigger one (oh boy, that sounded funny [LOL])

I was there, I'm in the shorts, green shirt and FDE hat towards the top of the picture with people at their shooting mats. Great time. I missed the backs of my knees with sunscreen, and they are burned... won't make that mistake again.

Yeah, it's been so long that I had forgotten how much fun shooting with a can is, and with her starting there, will definitely have to start the process to get one now :)

Glad she helped keep the dog entertained, she loves playing with animals and for the moment at least want to be a Veterinarian when she's older.

Had a great time at the "event".

Finally getting my rifled dialed in.

I always learn a lot when I shoot with those much more experienced than myself.

Made things a LOT easier by going up on Friday and camping out overnight, too. (OK per Pawnee Rules/Regs)
