CC vs DU hockey game. Anybody going/want to go tonight?

It's game 2 of the first round of the WCHA playoffs for CC vs DU. Is anybody else going? I'll be there, and I have an extra ticket if anybody else wants to go. I'll open it to whoever wants to go, but Tiger fans get priority. You can buy me a couple beers at the game and we'll call it even.

I have no dog in this fight, but seeing as how I live closer and only been to one DU vs CC game in my life (but several DU games) I like DU... Sorry I can't go with you Sharpie. You wouldn't want me to go anyway, I'm pretty vocal in my support of my teams. [Beer]

My wife and I were at the CC bookstore to get her a sweater to wear to the games, and they sell a shirt there that says "you can't spell dumb without du". I thought it was funny, especially since it's an official school shirt. But I'm just messing with you DU fans. I've been a Tigers fan for all of about 5 months now, and mostly because it's the local team (it's certainly not because of their record this season, I've seen them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory more than once).

That was how it started with me and DU... then they crushed and started winning championships and I thought I might have picked a winning team here (unlike the Rockies or the Avalanche as of late). Yes, I'm saying I was a fan of DU hockey before they were on top... kind of like the Broncos. [Coffee]

Wife has her undergrad and Masters from DU so I had no choice lol. I remember watching the Avs practice there when we first acquired them. Let me tell you, Sakic's wrist shot was friggen amazing close up. CC vs DU games are always fun and exciting for both teams. Wish we were there.

Just thought I'd bump this thread for all you DU fans. Sounds like you Pios will still get an at large bid to the NCAA tournament, but there sure were a lot of sad faces at Magness Arena last night.
