While I was reloading magazines this morning, I found the following in my WWB 100 count 9mm box from Walmart. What do you think this would have done in my G19? Should I contact someone about it?

Call the quality control number on the box.
Sounds like a free box may be in your future..... or coupon if you can find it in stock
Probably would not have chambered but if it did....... no bueno.
Thats not the first time I have seen bad ammo in WWB stuff. Their quality control is not great. I see more issues with firearms cycling proprly when students are using WWB ammo, than any other ammo. Its not bad but there is a reason it is "inexpensive" ammo
Would have been fine! Its a glock remember....oh wait those blow up on their own!
I'm surprised that people don't find MORE faulty/defective rounds in factory made ammo. That stuff is made so fast I just can't see how it could possibly be consistent. Good example - Remington Thunderduds.
One of the reasons I prefer to handload....I KNOW what my rounds are made like.

I feel the same way. Although I have to say I have made a few rounds like that myself...

Odd that's your experience. I prefer WWB because I've never had a problem. I'll try to update this thread after I contact the complaint dept.
I find an occasional defective round in the cheaper ammo. Stuff like that happens when you manufacture thousands of rounds a day. I'd just toss it and carry on.

WWB... the iceburg lettuce of the ammo world.

The brass of which people leave laying all over the ground, and fills my buckets! The ammo may leave something to be desired, but the brass is fine.

Who hasn't? But you caught them though, didn't ya?

Same here. The loads are generally lackluster, but at least the brass is good.
I giggle like a friggin' kid when I pull up somewhere and find 100 fresh cases glittering in the sun. God bless 'em. And the guys that leave a buttload of new .223 brass on the ground, hell, I'd buy 'em lunch. One guy left 18 M1 Garand enblocs for me.

Complain for one bad round? [werdo]
I used to belong to a range where we let local law enforcement do some of their training and qualification. I used to love showing up right after they left. Always tons of 9mm, 40, and 45 brass left behind.
We let the national guard use the rifle range once. There must have been 100 guys shooting their 5.56 rifles. Brass was every where. I thought I was going to hit the mother load. When they were done shooting they policed every bit of their brass and took it with them. I bet I didn't find three pieces when they left.

No shit, in a world where you are more likely to win the powerball than find ammo, I'll gladly take the remaining box of "bad ammo" from the OP.

I've contacted win and speer for 1 "defective" round. Gift certificates from both for $25 each. They requested i send back the entire box of ammo.

I'd gladly take $25 gift certificates, if I thought I could actually find ammo to use them on.

An educated consumer, is our best customer. SW and other places have ammo, just need to be patient. It takes 30+ days after delivery for Win to send you reimbursement.

Let me be clear... I loaded the other 99 rds up. I was more interested in what striking the primer might have resulted in. That said, hell yes I'm going to try to get free ammo

Too bad you shot up all but a couple of rounds from that box. :D

Probably would've got caught up on the feed ramps, or if i did feed probably Squib

Hell yeah I caught them. I knew about an eight of the way through the stroke that they would coming out looking like that but I always say finish what you start and ram that bastard home. I started that after I stopped mid stroke on a 45 and the bullet was jammed in the seating die and the case was ruined anyway.
