Has anyone been to "front site" in Las Vegas and taken their course? How are they? Good? Worth it? Any feed back appreciated.

I would pass for a number of reasons.

There are a lot better schools for a lot les smoney teaching you stuff that is nto mired in the 80's.

I took a 2 day practical rifle and a 2 day defensive shotgun from them on the certificates.
If you can go on a certificate not a bad deal. Incorporate what you want into your regime, discard the rest.

I also took the 3 day course from EAG Tactical at Pueblo West. EAG Tactical was IMHO a much better course.

Get a certificate on eBay for $98 bucks and take the 4 day defensive handgun class. You will feel infinately more comfortable and confident with your weapon, which for a first class - I am assuming this is a first class? - you cannot go wrong. What they teach and how they teach vs. anyones elses school is subjective at best. The smartest thing to do is hit ALL of the schools and take what works for you away from each. But for $98 you will not go away unhappy. This certificate only works for your first class with them. Request Craig Bishop's class, as he is a consumate teacher - as were the majority of the staff.

I attended one as a non-shooting participant. It was worthwhile for the price - in my opinion some of the techniques are dated, but that's not very important. The best part is that the cert you can get off Ebay for 120 bucks. I've attended a lot of training, and you get something from each one - in the spirit of always seeking out new methods and training opportunities, it's worth it.

Be prepared if you show any intrest they will call you and e-mail you non stop. I was getting recorded phone messages from Ignasio Piassia " I think thats the owners name" atleast twice a week. Telling me how important it was to my families saftey that I attend classes and that I needed to buy a membership that was like $10,000 if I remember. They just finally stopped calling me after a year of me blowing them off.

Other than the several times a week news letter "that I signed up for", I have never received unsolicited contacts from Frontsite. Granted they did slip in a bullshit 1 hr. presentation on the 3rd day about some "financial opportunity" thing that Piazza is involved with. He is an eccentric person who has made this school his pulpit. However, I believe you are very well served by the staff and what you will learn. I would definately go back as the staff are the ones that really make a school what it is. There are guys on staff with some very real "street cred".
