Do you give second chances? Or are people with a -1 here done from buying/selling?

It's the individual call. Just like eBay. A negative feedback doesn't stop someone from buying or selling, it's an individual choice to deal with that person or not.

a -1 usually erupts into a whine-fest with much complaining, PMing, PMSing and results in nothing being recorded.
we live in a happy world, shut up and go with it.

Unless there is a long history of bad transactions, or the feedback can be verified and is for extremely bad reasons, the staff tries to stay out of it.

So its usually up to the buyer to decide if that -1 is a deal breaker.

A -1 would not really deter me from dealing with a person. People have issues sometimes, but if it's like a slew of -1's, then I would have an issue..

I think the more appropriate question is what percentage of positives does it take to overcome a -1.

If someone has fifty +1's and a single -1 that is a lot different to me than two +1s and a -1.

-1 happens.. I notice some takes the time to explain him/herself after a -1 post. I can respect that. I agree with you... I would rather avoid a newb with -1 w/o much compensating +1.

I know Ginsue still has that link on his top bookmark. The clip has been played over and over again at night by the same ip address.

Well, I'm giving the bulk of you a huge -1 for Feedback!

Last night I spend about 2 hours cleaning up the Feedback forum because so many of you are to lazy to search the forum for an existing feedback thread for members. I merged somewhere around 40 duplicate threads with pre-existing threads. One member even had 7 threads for his feedback. 7! Really? That bodes of just pure laziness folks.

One of the stickies (http://www.ar-15.co/threads/21662-Please-Read-BEFORE-posting-in-the-Feedback-Forum) at the top of the Feedback forum tells you exactly what you need to do and how to do it.

It's simple, just take a couple of extra minutes to search for an existing thread. BEFORE you post a new one.
