Silly question when you think about it:
1. The climate is changing. It has been doing this consistently for four and a half billion years, the reasons are inconsequential to this discussion
2. The world will be covered with water. Anyone who has seen Waterworld knows this. Anyone who has not seen Waterworld is lucky.
3. Therefore you will eventually need to defend yourself against a small naval flotilla of badly disguised JetSkis and Wave Runners, not to mention the odd quad-fifty.
4. A miniature main battery from a battleship is the perfect weapon in this situation. You could always pack a little HMX in the shell and put a fuse on it.

It's always better to be prepared.
