Can't say that's something I'm plagued with at the moment. Or ever.

OK. I give up.

Why would you own a cat in the first place?

No, but I have a hair tie problem and sometimes a marking of territory problem. Never have had the sock problem, or at least not yet.

Because cats are AWESOME! And they don't require much attention or time. Dogs are too needy.

Admit it. The "loose" socks are only a trap to have them hump it when you're wearing them.

My cat opens my drawers and crawls through to the closed ones to sleep. Ever hear a cat try to get out of a drawer at 3am?

We inherited a cat that has this issue. He took a liking to anything fleece - to the point of pulling the clothing off the hook to get his "action". Kicking him, throwing things at him, nothing stopped the behavior. He's already fixed, so that didn't help either. Finally gave it, bought a cheap fleece blanket at Wally World and gave it to him. It's his "woobie" now and I don't touch it. [Puke]

That's when you teach the child to do their own laundry.

The best was when my wife found his Penthouse magazine between the mattress and box spring. After I inspected it for content I took a glue stick and stuck all the tasty pages together and put it back where it came from.....

I'm checking my socks now. We have a young 6month old male Norwegian. He is a like a dog. If I see him eying my socks up, I will have to deal with him.

There is a recent study that found that cat owners are more susceptible to being schizophrenics.... I'll try and find it, but it makes purrrfect sense. [LOL]

Cats are so weird! We have one that does that to the blanket on the couch. He's the only one that uses it anymore. He does his thing, then curls up In it and sleeps. He's been fixed since he was a kitten so I don't know where this behavior comes from.

I can see it now - all of us traumatized owners meeting once a month. [LOL]

"Hello, my name is .........., and I have a horny cat."

TheGrey
03-25-2013, 21:57
LOL! It's a dominance behavior. We have two cats, both fixed males and on occasion, one will hump the other. Sometimes he'll hump the couch pillow that the other cat was sleeping on.

My guess is he likes sloppy seconds. So in other words wash your socks when you are done with them.

Oh and cats are just big squeaky toys for dogs.

Yep our cat does it too and I'm glad to know that ours is not the only one.

He will fuck anything, he doesnt care. Its usually the cloths that we wore that day but not always. He doesnt discriminate he will screw anything.

We don't have that problem with a cat, but our five year old female Golden Retriever keeps dry humping our new three month old male puppy. Makes me feel bad for the poor little guy...

I think she is just trying to get the point across that she is the alpha. At least it is better then a cat having its way with your socks [ROFL1]
