Even as a kid back in the 90s i knew this guy was an idiot. Like previously mentioned, he is just trying to regain some notoriety by getting political. He should just stick with making funny faces though.

Personally, I'm boycotting his new movie... I don't care if it's the funniest thing ever (doubtful, because even on a bad day Mel Brooks is 100x funnier than Carrey).
I always find it funny when people attack gun owners with either the a) redneck argument or b) the small penis argument.
In all my years of being around gun owners I have found the redneck quotient rapidly diminishing - and being steadily replaced with the pissed off, middle aged, college educated, tech worker. Not saying the redneck numbers aren't there, its just that the stereotype is ~30 years old and doesn't hold up anymore. If your going to attack using humor then there has to be a ring of truth in the attack. This just kinda fell flat for me.
As for the "B" argument. I've never felt the need to really compensate for anything.
J.C. has to do something to put his face back in the Spotlight.
This is a good way for him to be able to make another Stupid Movie & sit with the Big Shots at the round table.
Let's face it, like the man said, he's becoming another actor from the 90's that no one cares about.

Just another hollywood elitist who lives in a gated community, surrounded by ARMED guards, who uses guns in their movies to make profit thinking they know best.
I'm thinking a boycott of hollywood is in order here. As much as I like movies. I'm thinking of never going to a theater again. Reading a book is just as good.
