Hello everyone. I'm a newly registered forum member.

Originally from southeastern Michigan, moved to CO in the spring of 2008 for work. I spend my working days "going click-clack on my nerd box", ie I work in IT.

Roots in Kentucky and Virginia so I grew up around firearms, mostly shotguns. Got interested in politics when I heard my first few speeches by a fella named Ron Paul. And No, I don't smoke dope.

Hobbies include martial arts, playing guitar and banjo, trail-running, fishing, hunting, reading (history, politics, religion).

Glad to meet everyone. Looking forward to participating.

Whereabouts in KY did you live? My in-laws are from Eddyville on the Western side.

My mom's side is from Floyd county, around Prestonsburg. I've still got some family around Banner, KY but most of them live near Mt. Sterling now.

For what it's worth, here's a picture of my modest collection. I'd like to pick up a Remington 700 next. Haven't made up my mind on caliber or wood vs synthetic.
