If you could convince people in line to meet you at a FFL's you could pick up some cool stuff. I'd offer $250 for "assault weapons" any takers?

Do they have UBC laws there? If not, I'd sit there with my CHP as proof of being a law abiding citizen with some cash looking for AK's and AR's. Some might even do 200 cash since they would probably want it more than a gift card. Since it's in May you can get them back to CO with mags before the ban is in effect.

Hey, there's a $10-$25 gift card waiting for us if we turn in high capacity magazines. If they're giving $25 for each 30rd mag, a bunch of old surplus mags could be quite lucrative. ;)

Wouldn't ALL rifles be considered Assalt Rifles for the $200? Liberals would not know the difference.
I would state that I want my $200 for mine regardless what it was.

Y'know, if we could talk those idiots up in Denver into holding buyback programs down here in El Paso County before July 1, I'd take the day off and get a stack of cash from the credit union so I could set up a table down the block from the program ... Someone suggest buybacks to those idiots Morse and Hickenlooper ...

I was thinking Bloomberg. Just him reaching into other states to further his gov't know best agenda.

ok, you got me there. I would never participate in any of their programs anyway. I just wanted to point out a way some folks may be able to take advantage of their ignorance.

They're given to king pins in Mexico, of course.

Don't G3/cetme mags sell for around $3? Here's a good way to make some quick $$

They are destroyed

There is a pro-gun bill (HB 2455 (http://www.azleg.gov/legtext/51leg/1r/bills/hb2455p.pdf)) being introduced in the Arizona State Senate that would allow for the reselling of the firearms from gun buybacks.

HB 2455 would require any firearms forfeited to or confiscated by a law enforcement agency to be sold to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder in exchange for money, new equipment or ammunition. As a result, previously owned firearms collected would maintain their value and their sale to the public would help recover public funds when budgets are strained. In a 36 to 23 vote, HB 2455 passed in the Arizona House of Representatives and is eligible for the Senate’s final approval after passing in the Senate Public Safety Committee by a 4 to 1 vote.

Anything, when used correctly, IS an ASSAULT WEAPON.

+1

As I recall, Samson used the jawbone of an ass ... unfortunately, it'll be a long damned time before Obama's jaw drops off ...
