The funny thing is that in places like NY, if you are convicted of a "white collar" felony such as fraud, embezzlement, or tax evasion, you do not forfeit your right to own firearms or hold public office . . . but get caught with a 30 round mag and you lose both those rights for life and face a mandatory minimum of a year in jail.

Because that would affect people exactly like Bloomberg and we can't have that can we.

They really should call themselves Mayors Against Legal Guns. Their goal is to make currently legal guns illegal.

I said nearly the same thing to my local Mayor of Lakewood, he's never responded. (he is a member of MAIG)
