...of course announcement made on April 1.

They state most of the employees will make the move. I wonder if they are moving into Wyoming and folks can just commute?

When they total this shitshow up and finally calculate the losses from this Demonrat railroading we've been through, how much will it be? And how will it mesh with the 8% increase in spending they plan?

Its begun. First Magpul, then Outdoor Channel and other sportsman shows pulling production out of CO. Be interesting to see the number of out of state tag draws there are this year compared to last.

Hopefully the next state is friendly to them, good job Colorado democrats....

Been said before, but we could offset the costs by raffling off a tag for damnocrats. Season could coincide with the start of the legislative session and kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. The lefties would be reduced to a healthier number, and people (I use that term loosely) would think twice before passing any more asinine, grandstanding, free-publicity laws like the recent legislative abortion.

And the Democrats here say they are acting on behalf of the majority of the people.
Really?
Let's put that to a vote!

I'm afraid the pathetically ideological Democrats will only see this as a good thing. They see themselves as some elite and us as Neanderthalic morons (some irony there since I suspect the average Neanderthal was smarter than John Morse or Rhonda Fields). The only way you're really going to get their attention is by hurting Colorado businesses and activities they care about -- like skiing season, Downtown Denver Arts Festival, Crested Butte Film Festival, the Telluride Jazz Festival, Colorado microbrews, etc. I'm afraid I just don't see mass quantities of people saying, "I'm drinking Lone Star and Shiner Bock now, Breckinridge and Fat Tire can kiss my ---.," and I question the percentage of people that attend the Downtown Denver Arts Festival that are even legal gun owners much less willing to boycott it over this issue.

None of it matters... The current politicians voting in the legislation causing businesses to move and boycotting of CO products will simply not sway them. It will hurt the state and it's people. That may sway the voters, but mot the majority in Denver and Boulder.

This next election will reveal the future of this state. If Hick and his buddies don't get voted out, the state is gone blue permanently. No saving it. I will seriously look into moving.

I referenced Magpul in another thread about Magpul moving should these laws be signed.

I will now expand this to cover all these companies that are moving out of CO and why the Dems (Marxists) don't care that they move:

1. These businesses produce products or supply services that the Democrats (Marxists) hate.
2. These businesses have a business model that does NOT require government (taxpayer) investment.
3. These businesses are not producing 'green' products.
4. These businesses do NOT lobby (bribe) politicians for government (taxpayer) investment.
5. The owners of these businesses believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, which the Democrats (Marxists) hate and see as impediments to their agenda.

It will not have an effect at all on the government. They will just increase YOUR taxes to make up any shortfalls in tax

Absolutely NOT true! Why, I have one of those excellent green fibreoptic front sights on my 6" GP-100 courtesy of HiViz. Thats the only reason I can hit the target with my crappy eyesight! [ROFL2]

A couple of years ago I worked with the NorCO Friends of NRA and Ft. Collins Brewery donated three kegs for the event. I usually drink beer there, on Mondays mostly.

http://www.idpa.com/blog/post/2013/04/01/Colorado-Shooting-Competition-Canceled-In-Wake-Of-New-Gun-Control-Laws.aspx

Losing money left and right and we are now going to be the blacklist state for anything to do with firearms. Very sad.

The ends justifies the means. Like previous posts have mentioned, "Progressives" don't give a rat's pa-toot 'bout the firearms industry. Let's see if the long-lived manufacturers in Connecticut exit stage left or plainly say "thank you sir, may I have another" upon passage of their new gun control laws.
