Shared calendars?

Does anyone know of a way that my wife and I can share our calendars? We both always have tons of things going on and it would be so much easier to be able to schedule things if we both shared the same calendar. Any of you that know me know I am NOT a computer techy guy so please talk to me slowly and in laymen terms. We both have iPhones so that would be cool if there was an app for it or any other way would be acceptable.

Right now we are both just using the one on our iPhones individually

I don't know about Iphone, but on Google calendars there is an option to "invite" Other people when you put something on your calendar. Then the wife would get a message that I was adding something to her calendar. She could accept or decline.

Yep, set up google calendars, then you can link each others to your phones.

Yeah with Google Calendar, you can share the entire calendar rather than having to invite the other to each appointment.

Google calendars is very easy. Looks like the other option is as well. My wife will be getting an iphone soon, we will need to do this.

Another +1 for Google calendars.

I sync Outlook (work) with mine and we both see each others schedules on the phones, tablets, online, whatever.

I'm not a fan of Google calendar, but that's just me. Many families like the Cozi service. My wife and I use it, and it works for us. It's free, and they have apps for iPhones and android devices.

+1 for cozi, I utilize the free version where the calendar is shared among computers/smartphones. I particularily like the shopping list. Add to the shopping list when you remember stuff and it is accessible to all the family members.
