I've had this rifle for about five years. It is a British L1A1 kit built on a DSA receiver. It was bought from an falfiles member n8gunner. Since owning it I've put an entire case of aussie through it w/o a single malfunction. It has the correct flash hider w/ bayonet lug and comes with the correct MOD issue bayonet. I also have the issue cleaning gear and combo tool as well as a replacment top cover/scope mount assy. The rifle alco comes with fifty (50) metric magazines.
You can see me holding the rifle in this falfiles thread.

as well as this one. (post's 50,51 and 52)

I'm looking for a little help putting a fair market price on the package.
Thanks in advance everyone.

with mags less S&H i'd say $800 range depending on market.
unable to see pics from links.
However since it's a DSA receiver and an inch pattern rifle that price range + o - is about average. depending on condition how much do you have invested, and what is it you want to replace it with going to cost?

I have $800 in just the rifle. I'm looking to get into an 18" PTR91

i'd keep the L1A1. much easier to take down in the field if needed. the only tool you might need is one to remove the extractor. even then a bullet can be utilized.
not so for the H&K copy.

I would keep it as well. Having only shot a few Cetme's and 91's I lean to the side of caution.
Keep the FAL and spend some time with the PTR91. You may regret selling the wrong one.

I'd hold off for a while.

prices could go up... but I damn well hope and pray they don't!
