Unfortunately not everyone shooting back at the state is going to be a good-guy and not every bureaucrat/agent/worker for the state getting shot is going to be a bad-guy. In fact these kind of things usually start going pear shaped about the time that the bad-guys start taking out government apparatchiks ... and the state uses that as an excuse to crack down on the good-guys some more.

I suspect we're going to see more and more stories in the media about "government officials under threat" every time any of them runs into even the slightest opposition.

This is really bad, because the Aryan Brotherhood on its own (even without government controlled lies spewed by the media) is an organization that no one is likely to defend. It would be another Waco, Chris Dorner, situation where the country sits back and cheers the government on instead of showing up to the scene and demanding that they stand down (like should have happened at Rubi Ridge and Waco).

Very easy. you must have skimmed over my post regarding said hit squads. Going out on a limb and say outside of your time in the .mil you may have led a sheltered life and not to up or street wise at all.

Even the most die hard, hard core AB, skin head, etc will do and does business in & out side of prison with EVERYONE. No one's meal ticket gets punched w/out an approval frpm higher up.
Quick example is the part of American History X when he's inside. He tells the head honcho for the skin's (what ever) to go fuck himself he ain't dealing with sp%^& & ggers. He's informed "this is how it's done" Which to echo other "prison" movies, such as Blood in Blood Out, American ME, etc IS HOW IT'S DONE .

No need for the insult to my intelligence, I wasn't sheltered. I'm just wondering if there is any evidence linking the cartels to this particular set of incidents... I can understand the politics of criminal organizations, and I know they do work together from time to time when it suits their needs (I wasn't born yesterday, Jack). I was thinking this was more centrally facilitated, such as going after those with the "gall" to prosecute their brothers. It's not too far fetched to believe that they exacting revenge for some prison officials and prosecutors for making their lives harder or whatnot. That's all.

U.S. Releases “Waves” of Illegal Immigrants from Custody.

Never one to let a crisis go to waste, President Obama is using impending budget cuts to justify releasing “waves” of illegal immigrants from detention centers throughout the country.

Groups of illegal aliens have been freed this week from facilities in Texas, Florida and Louisiana, according to a mainstream newspaper story that quotes advocates reporting "waves" being released. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed the secret liberation program, but wouldn’t say how many illegal immigrants were let go or what facilities they came from.

One appreciative illegal immigrant, Manuel Perez, actually issued a statement after getting released from a detention center in Livingston Texas this week: “Lots of us are getting out who were brought in for driving without a license or other small things,” Perez wrote. “I hope more of us are able to get out soon.”
The move comes at a time when the president has embarked on a major campaign to convince the nation that impeding budget cuts will harm national security, specifically border protection and the enforcement of federal immigration laws. Ironically, releasing incarcerated illegal immigrants into the general population can certainly threaten the security of the communities where they are freed.

Here is the statement from ICE that appears in the story: “In order to make the best use of our limited detention resources in the current fiscal climate and to manage our detention population under current congressionally mandated levels, ICE has directed field offices to review the detained population to ensure it is in line with available funding. As a result of this review, a number of detained aliens have been released around the country and placed on an appropriate, more cost-effective form of supervised release.”

IF the cartels wanted to take hits on US officials they would be HIGHLY wise to use the AB... keeps the rage the US people have "in house". As close as we may be to using drone strikes on US soil .. we are not there yet .. may not ever be. collateral damage wont fly with the collateral's are US citizens killed by a missile. And even if we did .. the cartels can keep business as usual .

Now if the Cartels struck directly and claimed it....... Who would care if we started putting cruise missiles thru windows of cartel leaders south of the border ? NO ONE. So they found out that this had nothing to do with the Aryan Brotherhood. What happened was a judge was caught on camera stealing three monitors from the courts on a Sunday when no one was there. Even though he was caught on camera, he blamed his prosecutors and him and his wife vowed revenge. They killed the first prosecutor in the street, and the guy and his wife were so afraid that they would be next that they had a police officer in front of their house for two months. They even hid guns all over the house. The judge and his wife just waited until the police detail was canceled and went and killed the other prosecutor and his wife at their house.
