So the bad guy robs someone at gunpoint, but he didn't actually shoot them.
The gun just "went off" according to the media.... makes the guy look damn near innocent.

BLACK HAWK - One woman was wounded during a robbery in a Black Hawk parking lot early Thursday morning.
At 2 a.m., a 19-year-old man walked up to the driver's side of a car and threatened a man inside with a gun.
Police say a struggle ensued between the man and the armed suspect. During the struggle, the gun allegedly went off and struck a woman sitting in the passenger seat in the leg.
At that moment, another 19-year-old suspect came over to the woman's car door and stole her purse.
The suspects then fled the scene in their vehicle.
Central City Police were able to locate the vehicle and took both men into custody.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
