Just wanted to say Hi and reintroduce myself. I have been a registered member since 2011 but havent actively posted in a long time so with all the crazyness out there in the US today, I felt I better get back into making connections and staying involved for a united front - whatever that ultimately ends up being.

I am a retired MSgt from the USAF and work for a large technology company as a Managing Consultant (we ARE hiring if any of you out there have consulting background). Married with a teenage daughter that just got her license about 3 months ago so I am still freaked out at this point - do ya blame me?! Been into the shooting sports since I was 14 and I am big into reloading and custom tuning loads. I regularly shoot IDPA matches in both Custom Defensive Pistol (.45 ACP) and Stock Service Pistol (Glock 17) and I have attended numerous advanced courses for running my carbine. Got back into 6.8 caliber and chomping at the bit to do some hog hunting in Texas or Florida but have to see how that works out. Anyways that is the short of it. Keep up the good fight for our rights!

I have a teenage daughter that is a year away from getting her permit,or should I say-elligible to get one.
She is slowly starting to butter me up for it..Not looking foward to the lesons, but I have a beater so I'm not worried about battle damage..[Coffee]

Update - sooooo about 2 hours after I wrote my intro, daughter made an illegal U-turn and got into an accident..<slaps forehead>! And of COURSE it had to be up in Boulder so now we have to go to court with her alllll the way back up there. AND to add insult to injury (pun - no-one was injured in the accident) - she went to her dance competion and when we came out at 11 PM - she had parked in a marked spot and got at TICKET! Lets see, that is $350 for the accident plus probably court costs and another $50 for the ticket and I cant wait to see what happens to my insurance premium... All in all, not the greatest day.

Wow. Good luck with the daughter driving. Mine's got another couple years before she starts driving, thank heaven.

I too am a retired USAF E7, and there's at least one more (TennVol, IIRC) here; and I can't remember if theGinsue retired as an E7 or not. Welcome back, and enjoy.
