"
/When our 7NEWS photojournalist arrived at the scene he heard gunshots, but police couldn't tell us whether it was related to the case.

Denver police said the gang unit is handling the investigation./
"

Considering the hood where this happened, i'm not surprised, however, with our new gun laws going onto the books...won't it make us all safer?

I hear ya. What are you on? Responding when medicated has a whole different perspective doesn't it?

We already have little DC/LA microcosms: Edgewater, 5 Points ("gentrify this, motherfucka"), anything remotely related to Aurora... they just don't get as much coverage, because while their crime rate is proportionately comparable to "Inglewood" with an "I", they're still considered ghetto-lite.

They are ghetto lite or really not ghetto at all considering I've walked around at night without getting mugged or shot in Montbello and five points. There are areas of Detroit, Chicago, LA, NYC, DC, Miami, Atlanta or Houston to name a few larger cities where you don't go in the daytime depending on the color of your skin let alone at night. Detroit and Chicago have neighborhoods where emergency services don't go into after dark. Those are places that area true ghetto, people in Cook County would consider Montbello a vacation spot.

the whole concept is the thread where our legislators are disarming the good, and the LEO's are making a safe haven for the bad...I'm assuming 50k ft level that dpd doesn't go there alot...
