Bullshit. Robbery especially in a mob situation can be determined to be a use of deadly force. Good thing a soon to be 15 rounds may inflict less damage to the misunderstood yuts.

This isn't just Chicago . . . been going on in a lot of major cities over the past 10 years, but has recently become more common. Usual MO is, 25-48 hrs prior to a large outdoor public event, messages start going out over various social networking sites such as Twitter inciting violence, then, usually in the early evening, hundreds of people, usually Black teenagers, start randomly beating and robbing Whites, Asians, Latinos, including women and elders, and including people in cars. MO for business robbery, usually clothing stores are selected, and 50-100 teenagers all enter the store at once, ransack it, and are gone within 15 minutes.

Actually, there's a big difference. With the 16th St Mall beatings, those were actual gang members, and there were usually less than a dozen of them. The "Flash Riot" thing is mostly non-gang members, who often do not even know each other very well, and are connecting via social networking on their smart phones.

While it may've not been "gang related," IIRC nearly every individual arrested and prosecuted was a member of a local Crip set.

This is my fourth time trying to write. Every time I start trying to type a response, I end up going off and saying things I don't want to put on the Internet. This shit makes me sick. Watching my country fall into the hands of these bastards infuriates me. Actions have consequences. Anyone engaged in this type of violence deserves what they get. Did you all read, or hear, the comment from the "community activist" encouraging parents not to blame the police? These fools have the audacity to intrude upon the rights of peaceful citizens enjoying a walk down a public street and we have to worry about their parents lashing out at the police?!?!

America is an idea. A nation built and founded upon certain principles. When those principles no longer exist, neither does America. How much more can we take? When is enough, enough?

Additionally, the last post reflects sentiments we can all appreciate but also hints towards encouraging unlawful behavior. While we may not agree with all of them, we are still a nation of laws.
