Boibeaux said that he’s “appalled” and that the school seems to be “trying to indoctrinate our kids.”
Indoctrinate? Guess which father is next on the list of visitations by "social services".

The schools today barely admit the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and cover the Axis only as far as the racism of the Nazi's, so in what way does this shock anyone?
Face it folks, World War Two would not have been fought if it happened today. When Germany invaded Poland and France, the US would have sat quietly by and allowed the UN to BS until Hitler owned all of Europe and was knocking on the borders of China. The Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor would have been seen as a response to American global aggression and we would have sent them a billion dollars in aid after The president (purposefully NOT capitalized there) apologized live on CNN.
From our greatness we have become complacent and in our civility we have lost the ability to be purposeful and brutal when the situation demands it. Where our forefathers would have told OPEC to piss up a rope, we beg and scrape at thier every whim while sending metric tons of US dollars their way daily. Where once we would have, as a Country, United behind our troops and never rested until our borders were safe and our citizens secure no matter where in the world they are, today our own government betrays its Ambassodors and sacrifices its citizens and troops.
Why should it shock anyone that such a document as the 2ND Amendment, a part of our very founding, be shredded by a teacher and school system with thier own misguided and foolish agenda.
It is a tragedy never before written in History.
Umm this is not far from the truth... My mother-in-law (high school history) and sister-in-law (grade school) are both teachers in California. They are both prohibited (by the school and the union) from discussing the second ammendment -- if the issue is forced then they are requried to say that the 2nd ammendment was for the military only.
My sister-in-law has been told to tell kids (grade school) that only the police, miltiary and "bad people" have guns.

I like the position of the padlock on that pistol [hahhah-no]
Never take safety advice from people who don't know what they are talking about.

thanks for that... so why is the state allowed to bring this up, but not the kids in class? meaning, if a kid randomly brings up his new .22 rifle, he gets suspended. but then later on they have the kids write an essay about the 2nd??

Education has become indoctrination. The media is a puppet of the .gov...most of what you read and see from the media is government approved. I'm just surprised no one has been arrested for sedition. I blame most of the countrys problems on the piss poor educational system.
It's pretty simple "Heller". Anybody seen anything like this in Colorado? Some of what my boy comes home saying makes me think they do but I have yet to see anything I can point to.
The solution is quite simple really: Ban children. Do it for the guns' sake!
Attrition will be the demise of the Second Amendment.
Sony Wii vs Daisy Red Ryder, -which would your kid pick if they were to choose?

That was my first thought on seeing the picture too. "We put a lock on it, so it must be safe, right?"
(Even ignoring the content of the article, it just goes to show that what schools aren't teaching so much is critical thinking and common sense)

Attrition is the correct answer.
Sony Playstation and Nintendo Wii. I am guessing that you are not a 23yr old.

That is because they use their own tongue before they shove their head back in.
I've completed #1 and 2, anybody want to finish 3 and 4.
1. The disagreement over the meaning of Second Amendment centers on the two words emotional and liberal.
2. The constitution is considered to be a living document which means that in the eyes of the framers, a musket can evolve into a repeating rifle just as the printing press can evolve into Facebook.

3. The amendment provides the right of the states to arm a militia such as the population of the city of Colorado Springs
