No doubt. They should have interviewed you!
When it hits the fan, those that have ammo can get anything they need.
Hey, did you guys know this?
This helpful FAQ from ATC’s Federal Premium unit (http://federalpremium.com/company/faq.aspx)says bullets have a shelf life of about 10-years, meaning eventually the ammo that doesn’t get shot or sold will have to be disposed of some other way.
...and the military isn't still using surplus from Korea?
I'm calling shenanigans. That's likely just CYA legalese from Federal.

They did but unable to print it w/out heavy editing

I'll pass that on to CMP and my $5.95 per 5K primers from Longs Drug.
Even worse, is the "Authors" lack of knowledge between 22's and magnum cartridges. The Diana DeGette of Investment.

.38 Magnum......
Yes sir, they hand them out at the exit polls
He addressed the .38 magnum and .22 comments at the end.
...whatever. Lame excuses to pretend he actually knows what he's talking about.
I think someone must have emailed him...twice.
He addressed the .38 magnum and .22 comments at the end.
Undoubtedly somebody who DID know what they were talking about, corrected him. No gun user in this century would use 38 magnum to refer to a 357.
I respectfully suggest to the writer that he go and fellate a hairy, cloven-hoofed animal.
Oh, and those among us who hoard ammo do it for drastically different reasons than "investing". My ammo is going to be fired through my guns. What at, and when, are matters still to be determined by people other than myself. I'll let them make that decision for me.
It'd be nice to own the companies making the band aids and bullets...

We need to spread that statement as fact, after all, it was on the Internet........ Think of all the cheap ammo we could pick up on from all the panic buying gun NOOBs in a few years.......

So that is why all that ammo I have from 1955, 1963, 1985 and 1991 works great. [Flower]
As A side note I have .308 bought for 12.9 cents and .223 bought for about 10 cents a round. and X54r for 7 cents........
Just saying. [LOL][beatdeadhorse]

You should lighten up francis.
Light them up? Happy to.
Sorry, I'll work on being more of a happy songbird, full of gentleness and the vigors of spring. Teach me how to be happy and loving again, Jim!

Just used 900 rounds of surplus .308 to help buy my new to me F250 last month. Got more than 3x what I paid for it. However I was much more upset at the loss of the ammo than the loss of the money.

I am wondering if the ammo shortage is just preceding a food shortage? The .gov wouldn't deceive us or lie to us would they?
Hoarding ammo ensures that I will not be short of anything, should the shtf. Grin. It's an investment in food, transportation, shelter... it's like the perfect stock.
10 year shelf life my ass. just shot some 1970's 5.45 and it was good as new.

Read this article today, decent read and maybe will scare the libtards a bit.
As to the question about food shortages, could be a precursor.
I prefer to look at what Cyprus just did to their banking system and recognize that it could happen here In the not to distant future.
There are no food shortages when the government rations it
And I thought I'd have to survive an EMP for this to happen..
You should lighten up francis.
Laughed out loud, Jim you should provide anger management classes.

I do. Most break down in tears after the first 45min, or try and leave. Pussies.
Any implied use of force on the boards is something discussed a few times. Prefer to see the thread going and not locked.
Actually, I agree. Days between getting my prescription filled can change my tone a bit... been on more of an aggressive kick than I normally am. I tend to usually be the hippie of the Libertarian community, more laid back and relaxed. Carry on...
I would be REAL selective about who I was equipping no matter what they had to trade.
"Anger Management Classes" just piss me off... [Mad]
I'm not too surprised by the "evil" varieties being a bit short but never in my lifetime would I have thought we'd see a run on .22LR the likes of what's going on.
