Yes I used the search function and I found the following: http://www.ar-15.co/threads/51622-Need-a-Divorce-Lawyer?highlight=divorce and http://www.ar-15.co/threads/44335-Divorce-lawyer?highlight=divorce I am looking for a few more recommendations for the best family law attorneys in Denver (impending divorce, no kids, etc.). Any help would be appreciated. Not me, a co-worker that I feel bad for. Thanks.

Why do divorces cost so much?
Because they are worth it!

Sorry to hear. Good luck.

I used Bonnie Shields. I had a similar situation of divorce with no children. She is straight forward and very good at what she does. Pm me if you have any questions. Also, sorry man. I put divorce along side combat, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. -Casey

Whoever you use, google the name and read the reviews. I could of saved firing my last attorney if I had just read his reviews and his firms reviews who proclaim to be the divorce experts of Colorado.

I always thought that too. I'm now convinced that was a bad decision 35 years ago.

Don't now any divorce attorneys but I do know a few guys from back in Jersey who could "take care of it". I can PM you the number of the deli they hang out in front of. [dig]

If they can agree on division of assets and liabilities then it is always worth a shot to file without a lawyer. Nothing is final until you sign it and if the appointed mediator cannot get the parties involved to agree then the recommend seeking representation. I filed by myself and it all worked out fine. I might have been able to pay a little less in support, but I would have lost thousands had I retained a lawyer, and I would have to have paid for hers too. It really all depends on what they have into the relationship and if they can get along well enough to give and take a little.
