I've reloaded for years, scores of years :) Never with lead though. With supplies harder to find I decided to get some lead bullets for the 380acp I bought from a person here a month or so ago. Finding recipes for 95gr 380 lead with the powders I had on hand wasn't easy but I ended up making 6 with Bullseye that didn't blow up and felt about the same as the factory loads. Yeah!!! BTW, I found the bullets in stock at a place in Florida that doesn't use the Internet but once a day to check email. Imagine that :) Can't sell out as fast if you aren't on the net.

There are locals that should have cast available. I use Big Iron bullets out of Wellington. Nice guy and the bullets are nice too.

^This^. Have not fired any yet just loaded some 38. Price point wise you can buy 1K of hard cast lead for what 500 fmj's are going for, AND they're in stock.

Ok, I'm back on the computer instead of my silly phone.

I've used several other colorado cast bullet companies, they just don't seem to be as good as Big Iron. He's usually at the gunshows too.

I load 38, 9mm, 45acp in hard cast. Pricing is stable compared to the rest of the bullet market. (plated or jacketed)

Thanks. I found them last night by just searching for the name and Colorado. Would make a good reason for me to take a long ride on my bike so might be a win win :)

I load LOTS of 45 ACP. I have been ordering from Missouri Bullet Company for over two years. Their product is great and so is their service. Here is a link to them. http://www.missouribullet.com/

Sorry, but bike meant my Harley Fatboy :) Would take me a week to ride my bicycle from Castle Rock to there and back.

Ha, ok, I didn't look at your location. Harley can handle it. I'd just have them ship or go to Tanner and pick it up.

He's OOS at the moment and his price from the house is the same as Elk Bomb and other LGS's that carry his product + Tax. You ride a fat girl, sure it will make it all the way up 25? Those softails are meant for TT riding [ tavern - tavern] [LOL]

I've got leather bags for it and even a wife to sit on back, not sure what else could go on it :) And this really isn't much of a soft tail now, the shock under it is set all the way as high as it'll go so I can carry all that when I need to.
