No FFL for gunsmoke

Just went in to Gunsmoke and they said that they do not havean FFL right now. They said it expired and are waiting for the new one to comein. Just thought you would like to know.

I know that when renewing a C&R that ATF will give you an authorization letter you continue to use your license while you wait for the new one. Don't know if they do the same thing for FFL01s.

Yes, continuation letters are common and routine for any FFL who has properly applied for renewal. If ATF won't issue a continuation letter, something out of the ordinary is going on.
