Well, you know that there is a need for a national police force that is a well trained, well equipped and as well funded as the military is. A police force that has authority anywhere in the United States to make us feel safe and secure in our government schools and government financed homes. I feel safer just knowing that the government is so concerned about my safety and well being that it is working hard to stop the violence that guns cause and make sure that my fellow subj... er I mean citizens, can't harm each other.

Use your industrial strength Tinfoil Hat: the TSA who'd be using these aren't the schmoes you see at the airport, they're going to use US protectorate islanders who are technically hireable but with no real feelings towards America one way or another.

Seems to me the massive up-arming of Homeland security and the TSA is most likely the vision that Beeho originally had for his "civilian police force". He mentioned that during the 2008 campaign, but at one point before that election stopped speaking about it altogether. He said he wanted a civilian police force equivalent in size and equipment to the military. My guess is he realized that he may not be able to control that force, and changed his strategy to using strictly government-controlled forces to do the same thing - control of the poplulation.

Does anyone have the FACTS on this? I heard a lot of allegations about so-called "no hesitation" targets, with photos, item numbers, and even a link to the company allegedly selling them . . . but the first day this was reported no such product could be found in that company's catalog and I have been unable to verify that they even existed, let alone been supplied to DHS. Can anyone confirm this from a verified source?
