Not shocking I know, but I am continually reminded of how divergent some peoples opinions on guns are.

And why does this country care what he thinks? He's not our Nation's "nanny", even though he thinks he is.

I actually agree with him. My dad never 'sold' me a gun, he gave them to me, which if you read the article, is what bloomy is talking about.

I read the article and I too plan on giving some guns to my kids. However, I think there is nothing wrong with buying them within a family as well, especially if we are talking about adult children.

A Bloomburg future scares the hell out of me. Why do both sides feel the need to control. It seems to come down to either the Government or Corporations controlling and knowing about everything in my life. How about everybody just leaving me and my family alone and if I need your help I will ask. If I am impedding a fellow Americans pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness then they get to have an opinion but not until then.

I'm going to setup my son up with the essentials as he reaches 18. If he wants anything outside of those three or four firearms then he damn well better be ready to pay for them.

"Selling" and "gifting" are indistinguishable to him . . . both are "TRANSFERS."

Exactly.

The liberals in my office have this to say:

I don't like guns and I won't own them, that means you can't own them either.

Welcome to bizarro world my friends, where you'll have to make the decision to live honorably and morally in the best interest of your family or legally. My mind is already made up YMMV.

I'd like to play Roshambo with Mr. Bloomberg... I go first, and I'm wearing my steel toed boots. [Kick2][goFyourself] Bloomberg is one of the biggest fucktards I've ever heard of recently.

He owns a vast estate in the Bahamas and is practically considered a citizen by the locals since he spends so much time over there.

Let's hope the folks over there will find a reason to keep him there. Of course, he can "buy" his way out of ANYTHING!
