Today I'm pretty dumb............ this is my daily driver.......right now.
My 72 El Camino. Nice car just need paint and interior. FML driving in this weather tho![facepalm]

I've always liked that style of the Chevelle/El Camino. Get some sandbags for now, get a 427 for later.

Get some sandbags.
Sandbags don't fix bald tires..... gonna get some good rubber for helping it hook up on the street.
You just cant fix stupid.

I drove a 71 Chevy pickup for about 4 years in Wyoming. 2WD of course. I empathize.
I haven't had to put my truck in four wheel drive yet this winter. Of course, having 4500 pounds of weight on the rear axle really helps.

The only time I've put mine in four wheel drive is get up my slightly inclined suburban driveway. I really should shovel more often.

floor pans ain't in yet. Holes in the floor.
no carpet
bald tires. Quite a bit of them on the driveway in front of the shop!! One tire fires!! [LOL]
no weatherstrip, door seals, window seals etc
no heater
no defrost
trans grabs second in a "chirp" on dry roads......
He's a brave soul!!!!
Or stupid......

How about you put on a GoPro helmet cam and take us for a spin in this beautiful whiteness. It's really soft and fluffy, you won't get hurt and clearly the car won't mind a few curb dings!

A friend of mine had an El Camino in high school. We called it the platypus: 1/2 car, 1/2 truck.
I see drifting around the circle.....with a GoPro.. and sleds attached to the bumper!! I have a 69 nova ill join you. [Beer]

I had a truck like that. Cardboard blocked the road spray pretty well.
I'd go with stupid. [Smart] [LOL]
