Agreed. I'll watch it (if I remember) but color me skeptical.

Some information with stats about the gun, high capacity Baby killing ammunition magazine assault clips, the numbers of them sold and used throughout the world in war campaigns and the new sensation overtaking America and their obsession with guns ...with occasional anti gun rhetoric laced within.

If it's such a "killing machine" why not just drop cases of AR's into the battlefield and let them do their thing while soldiers stay home.

"It was designed to kill as many people as possible as quickly as possible..."
Why do these silly morons keep confusing rifles with bombs? I mean c'mon, a JDAM was designed to kill as many people as possible as quickly as possible... the M16/AR-15 was designed to replace the M14.

This is what I expect. I'll have to be sure the kids are out of the house when I watch this - I expect lots of profanity to be coming from my mouth.

On April 25th at 10p.m. Eastern Time Tactical Response will be featured in a documentary called “America’s Gun: The Rise of the AR-15.” CNBC came and filmed a Fighting Rifle class. We even got them to shoot! There is a video on the link below and many of our Alumni are featured.

Who is Yeager? And what battlefield was the AR-15 born on? And what country in the world uses an AR-15? I'm confused. Did a country give up their costly but cool full automatics for a sporting semi auto and I didn't hear about it? Oh wait there are confused or trying to confuse the line between semi auto and full auto so all the imbred knuckle dragging anti gun types can think that these guns are the worst thing in the world and urge our leaders to disarm us and shatter the constitution while they are at it.

Daniel_187
04-16-2013, 17:51
Why? Why do you need a car that goes over 75mph?

Why does anyone need a car when you can call a cop for a ride?

<MADDOG>

I surmise the rhetoric and vitriol that will be pushed on the few zombies that do watch this program will not help any gun owner, let alone those who own AR-15's.

I stopped watching these media "hits" quite some time ago; and just watching that clip serves as a reminder not to watch them again. "A weapon born on the battlefield"? Really? My memory is fading with age, but I'm pretty confident that engineers/designers/machinists sitting in the confines of safety have conjured up all past and modern firearms.

And as someone has already stated, who "needs" a car that can go 150 MPH; the ability to buy a house he/she cannot afford, alcohol, marijuana, or a cell phone on the tax payers dime? Last time I checked, it's not for anyone else to determine what I need and what I don't; and as long as I do not interfere with someone else's "needs", why the fuck should anyone else care about mine?

Sorry, mini-rant...

I can't believe the media is STILL saying that an AR-15 was used in the Newtown shooting. I'm so sick of this country's "news" companies.

He is a co-anchor for Street Sign on CNBC. He does some interesting stories. He was one of the first to do John Mcafee (founder of Mcafee) story over the cell/sat phone when Mcafee was on a hide from Belize government.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, but two obvious anti-2A spins:

- Picking Yeager & an anarchist as AR advocates
- Asking 2A supporters to justify their position while not doing the same for the anti's

It still amazes me that the anti arguments are based solely on emotion and speculation ("if he ddidn't have and AR when he went on his murderous rampage...."). I guess reason, logic and basic understanding of the constitution are truly rare traits today.

Agreed, I was expecting worse. Picking Yeager is typical of the MSM, they find the worst drive-by snip they can and then try to represent him as 'typical'.

If they showed the Yeager bit they should have included our Diana DeGette too.

They purposely stated that he is in the far reaches of the AR community and that the "Dentist" was your typical owner. I respected that.

That was a good start for sure.

And props for the acknowledgment that very few semi-automatic rifles are used in firearms-related homicides.

Yeah, I agree, not as bad as some of the recent firearms hit pieces that have been on Current TV. The overall popularity of firearms related shows the last several years seems to be completely ignored by these propaganda manufacturers.

Back on now talking about 3D printing.
