What's the comparison to the Izula ?
The handle is identical. The blade is half an inch longer. Price was under $50. I picked it up because I thought it would be handy for preparing meals around camp.
My favorite local source for quality knives. Rapid Fire Bunker.
The Becker Necker is one of my favorite blades. I might have to try the hybrid.

Yep. It's pretty much the Necker with an Izula handle.
Here are a couple of pictures to see how it looks compared to the Izula.

How far can you throw it though?
How far can you throw it though?
Further than I can throw you but not as far as I can throw a baseball.

That's way cool!
I was (this) close to swinging in today! Was In the neighbor. Actually wanted to see if they had an izula in stock.

It's a cool store for what it is. The people there are really nice. I don't remember seeing an Izula last time I was in there but I wasn't really looking for one either.
Looks like I need to stop by. I want..
I put my name on a list so they will call me when they get some more Tops B.O.B knives in.
I leave next week to go out of town for two weeks. That's probably when they will get some in. [facepalm]
Is the blade thickness the same as the Izulu? I found the Izulu too thick for its blade shape.

Yes, it's the same thickness. "Bushcraft" type knives need to be durable.

ESEE goes right past durable to indestructible. I went through a spell where all my knives had to be able to serve double duty as a railroad spike. I am kind of over that, but I still want a Junglas.
Looks cool
It's my cool para cord wrap that really sets it off.
[Awesom]
Ah yes, its probably the paracord that I like so much...lol

I like that. Seems like a very ideal size. I'll have to look into getting one. LOVE my Izula so far. Wish I could find more use for it. I'm sure I'll be able to find some work for it.
The Izula is well suited to skinning small game and other intricate tasks. I think the Eskabar is going to be better suited for general camp use and cooking.
We'll see.

NAW GO JUNGLAS !!! Perfect for dicing a moose, cutting down a forest, beheading zombies. Yet still being a subtle accessory for the tactical butcher. [werdo]
The Junglas is definitely a "do all" kind of knife. I go back and forth as to whether or not it would fill my particular needs.
