So like the title says put in new flooring today and could not resist having a bit of fun while I did it. This is not an original idea but I like it so much I figured I would do my own take on it.

Haha!! That is awesome! I put in a new hardwood floor a couple years back and I really wish I would have done something like that.

I don't get it?...

It's supposed to look like blood, like some horrific murder/kidnapping/evil took place there. Years down the road when the next owners replace the floor they'll see it and think wtf?

I wanted to do this when we replaced the carpet a few years ago but SWMBO frowned on the idea.

Anytime I have sheetrock down I hide stuff in the walls. Weird stuff. Odd stuff. Basically something you wouldn't expect to find inside a wall. I did a shrunken head made out of a coconut once. And once I did a lava lamp. Maybe I'll do a bottle of wine or scotch next time.

i have thoughts about hiding things in my drywall, things for shtf days

If you're going to give scotch away to strangers anyway, I'm just down the street.
