IMO, a lot of performers seem to make singing the anthem more about them. I was touched and impressed, at least on this night, he started it and then stood back and let the crowd take over.

I remember going to Avalanche games after 9/11 and you'd always hear a guy or two yelling at the top of their lungs "Our flag was still there!" I still hear it from time to time at games. This video is that x10!

At the last CC v DU hockey game, the mic completely cut out on the lady singing the National Anthem about 3 words into it. The crowd took over, kinda like in the video. It was pretty awesome.

And then CC won, which was also awesome.
