best steakhouse *bang for the buck

I prefer big ed's, anything better for price per performance?

shanahansnsteakhouse is good, but 2 much $$$

Simms Steakhouse is not too bad

I hear Columbine Steakhouse on Federal is the place to go.

Texas Roadhouse. Bang for buck it can't be beat.

Salt Grass is decent and believe or not, the last couple of times I had Applebees Bourbon Street it was damn good.

Texas Roadhouse for me. For something different, try a chicken-fried steak with gravy, topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms. Yowza!

I keep hearing people swear about Texas Roadhouse, I've been to the one on 8th Street down here in The Springs 3 times, only once didn't it outright suck (and then it was ok, but nothing to write home about).

As for me, if I want a steak I can't afford to go to the places where they could beat what I could do on my grill at home.

I'm with you, texas shithouse is the walmart of the steakhouse world, my vote would be for saltgrass.
