WTH! I'd have taken up a collection to go through the legal challenge. Stupid turd should have been fired and sent to Commiepornia where he belongs. Our nation is well and truly screwed in the head when the school system is having to pay a miscreant like that AND he gets to file a complaint against the people who sought to discipline him for violating the US Flag Code.

I think in other parts of the world, you'd get dragged out in the public square and executed for doing something so disgusting.

He claimed it was something to do with "showing the power of symbols" or somesuch dumb stuff.

Jesus. This reminds me of "The Children's Story" by James Clavell. It's only one small step from destroying a symbol.

I personally hope some good ol boy from SC can demonstrate that flags are not the only things that can be stomped when discussing symbols. [Mad]

Let's not forget how they persecute children that nibble their Pop-Tarts to "look like guns", or go "pow pow" with their fingers while playing Cowboys and Native Americans on the playgrounds. Turds like this get coddled and paid big bucks to "soothe their hurt feelings", while a child with an Oh-My-God real capgun playing in his backyard is liable to be castrated and lobotomized, for his own safety and that of society.

Sounds like that story about the teacher that made his students "stomp on" the name of Jesus. It didn't end as well for that teacher as it did for this one. [facepalm]
