Security vs freedom

I guess I come down on the side of our liberties come before security; but I'm also of the belief we CAN have both. The dems, rinos, and globalists say you can have one or the other, but not both; and that's why we have the Patriot act. If that Patriot act was so awesome and designed to keep us safe, then how come the Boston Marathon bombing took place? I mean, these guys were all over the internet and facebook; anyone paying attention would have seen they posed a threat and at the very least should have been closely monitored.

The problem is we have a government that refuses to profile likely terrorists; that's why we have the TSA shaking down grandmas in wheelchairs and ignoring young middle eastern men. Then you have a President who is sympathetic (if not much more) toward muslims, and ignores border and port security.

The gov knew about the 911 terrorists beforehand, and had ample warning about many of them attending multi-engine passenger jet training down in Arizona. Additionally, most of them were here on expired student visas.

We got very lucky with the shoe bomber, underwear bomber, and the times square attempted bomber; all of them were individually incompetent. It was through no effort whatsoever of the feds and all of their sophisticated programs and tech that they were apprehended. More due to heads-up citizens than anything else.

I'm of the belief if we correctly profiled (ask the Israelis how to do it right, if we don't know), maintained strong border and port security, monitored foreign nationals in/leaving/arriving to the country, and cracked down on islamic radicalization in the US (mosques, schools), we would have today's brand of terrorism a non-factor in the US. All of the spying on lawful citizens would be unnecessary.

I do believe those behind the Patriot act are pushing a globalist agenda of citizen loss of rights and intimidation; and are proving their effectiveness. What say you?

We are coming to a crossroads in history

Been saying there's a global agenda for years. The US is just taking their marching orders from the oligarchy, which takes it's orders from Satan. Indirectly, knowingly, doesn't make a difference.

Oh, and I believe 9-11 was if not perpetrated, then at least allowed by the gov. Toomany people got rich off the fallout and subsequent Iraq invasion, too many draconian laws got passed, too many balls supposedly got dropped in the intelligence community, and too many loose ends have gotten little to no attention by the state-owned media.

Boston will happen again every few years, to remind us that we need Mother Government on every street corner and in our homes. A few bones will be thrown, like the shoe bomber, just to keep up appearances.

Our president is a Muslim terrorist who is employed (knowingly or with a delusion of autonomy - doesn't matter.) by an oligarchy of evil which is hellbent on a united, global police state.

And the NSA is just adding all of this to my file. The only reason more of us aren't conveniently disappearing is that we're small potatoes, largely just wanting to get away from the cities and be left alone.

And the current generation is so blinded, so dependent, so "tolerant", and numb, that they recoil at the slightest shred of personal responsibility. Better to be spoonfed at the watering trough, than to have to support oneself. Delirium tremens set in when a power outage separates them from their electronics and social media. They define and differentiate themselves merely with the things they buy. And the few prairie dogs that pop up to look beyond the colony, are ridiculed as crackpot, backwoods tinfoilers when they suggest something isn't right...
