Me thinks this has gone further than Mr. Morse anticipated...
Looks like he might beat it by a technicality. Supposedly the recall petitions have to ask voters for a "successor" and this recall petition didn't do that.
I sure hope the organizers didn't shoot themselves in the foot.
Nope, the petition solely says you want the miscreant recalled and why. The ballot will have two questions: 1) should Senator Morse be recalled and 2) who do you want to replace Senator Morse if he is recalled?
Morse can't be on question 2 and he's out of office the morning after the election when question 1 succeeds.
About time these fools wake up to reality. They think they can trample on our rights then just sit back and laugh about it? I'm hoping that right about now these fools are realizing they do not have majority support and Colorado is still occupied by a strong group of conservatives who believe in God, guns & freedom. I hope Hudak follows right behind Morse. They can both take a long walk off of a short pier.
[sheepshagger].....John Morse
I hope the other asshats in office are paying attention. Sadly, I doubt it.
But this is a good message.
If so many people in this district didn't want Morse, how did he get elected in the first place?
Will the people of this district be motivated enough to prevent another lib from being elected in their district again?
