The SP5SD won't be available to non-SOTs, even if they let them import it. Imported NFA items have been restricted to SOT dealers since 1968.
It looks like they're planning to bring in the SP5k as a pistol, like they did the old SP89, so at least it would be available as a regular handgun.
Can someone shed a quick light on whether its legal to take a pistol and convert it into a full on rifle? Not talking about an SBR, but rather meeting min barrel length of 16" (via a pinned, faux silencer) and overall length of 26"?Quote:
