My Colt AR15 fails to pick up a round out of the mag on a regular basis, and I don't have the knowledge to fix it myself. Any recomendations for someone in the Denver area that can fix it?

If you're using known-good mags, then the next most likely culprit is that the mag isn't seating fully. This is easy to fix by tightening the mag catch down another turn.Quote:

One full revolution to the right will cause it to grab the mag tighter, and possibly provide a better seat.
